Polish-Ghanaian philanthropist and founder of TOP CHARITY, has been named a Global Woman of Impact during the Super Bowl LX weekend in San Francisco, receiving one of the most prestigious international honours for her transformative humanitarian work.
The recognition was presented at the 25th Annual Super Bowl Charity Fashion Show, part of the festivities surrounding the NFL’s championship weekend, marking the first time in the award’s 25-year history that it has been bestowed on a woman from outside the United States.
Organisers commended Mensah’s leadership in driving philanthropic and development initiatives spanning Africa and Europe, including efforts that have improved conditions for over two million people globally and supported the rescue and education of more than 400 children in Ghana through the Kids Haven School programme.
Born to a Ghanaian father and a Polish mother, Mensah’s humanitarian footprint extends through nearly 200 social projects created via the Philanthropic Consortium and nearly PLN 150 million mobilised through TOP CHARITY for causes across education, social inclusion and humanitarian relief.
In her acceptance speech, she said the award symbolises resilience and the power of purpose, particularly for girls and women pursuing impact and leadership despite barriers.
The accolade underscores a shift in global philanthropy toward diversity and inclusivity, spotlighting leaders rooted in African heritage shaping social change on the world stage.
