The baby who was stolen from the Mamprobi Polyclinic in Accra was found to be running a temperature shortly after being rescued, the Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection has revealed.
According to the Minister, medical personnel immediately attended to the infant upon recovery and confirmed that the child had developed a fever. The baby is currently receiving medical care and is said to be in stable condition.
The shocking incident, which occurred at the Mamprobi Polyclinic, sparked widespread concern among residents and heightened security discussions around health facilities. The infant was reportedly taken under unclear circumstances, prompting swift action by security agencies.
