Nations FC have booked a place in the MTN FA Cup final for the first time in the club’s history after a hard-fought 1–0 victory over Aduana FC in the semi-final played at the Swedru Sports Stadium.

The decisive moment of the match came early in the game when Emmanuel Annor struck in the opening minutes to give Nations FC a crucial lead. That goal ultimately proved enough as the Abrankese-based side held firm under sustained pressure from Aduana FC to secure a memorable win.

Aduana FC responded strongly after conceding, dominating spells of possession and pushing forward in search of an equaliser. However, they were repeatedly denied by a disciplined Nations FC defence that remained compact and organised throughout the encounter.

In the second half, Aduana increased their intensity and commitment in attack, but Nations FC continued to manage the game effectively, showing resilience and tactical discipline to preserve their slim advantage until the final whistle.

The result confirms Nations FC’s historic qualification to their maiden FA Cup final, marking a significant milestone in the club’s rise in Ghanaian football. They will now await the winner of the other semi-final clash to determine their opponent in the grand finale.

The victory also keeps Nations FC in contention for silverware this season, with the club now just one match away from potentially lifting their first major trophy in the competition’s long history.
