The Embassy of Ghana in Doha, Qatar, has urged Ghanaian nationals currently in the country to submit their travel details to the mission following the suspension of several international flights that has disrupted travel plans.
In a public notice issued by the embassy, Ghanaian citizens who were scheduled to travel out of Qatar but are now affected by the flight suspension have been advised to promptly provide their personal and travel information to the embassy to enable appropriate assistance.
According to the embassy, the information required includes the traveller’s full name, passport number, airline, flight number, original travel date, current location in Qatar, and contact details. Officials say the data will help the mission compile an accurate list of affected nationals and coordinate with relevant authorities and airlines regarding possible travel arrangements.
The embassy explained that the request forms part of measures to ensure that Ghanaian citizens receive timely support and guidance during the disruption.
“Ghanaian nationals who are affected by the suspension of flights and require consular assistance are kindly requested to submit their travel details to the embassy as soon as possible,” the statement said.
The mission further encouraged Ghanaians to remain calm and continue monitoring official updates from airlines and Qatari authorities regarding the resumption of flights.
Embassy officials assured citizens that the mission is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as developments unfold.
Ghanaians in Qatar who need assistance have also been encouraged to maintain regular contact with the embassy through its official communication channels for further instructions and support.
